The crowds that flow along the Boulevard Saint Germain in the heart of the Left Bank in Paris part occasionally to show a face only to close again. The march of humanity is personal and impersonal, warm and cool, black and mauve.
I created Face in the Crowd while staying in a small apartment steps from the Rue de Seine with its bustling outdoor market and lively cafes.
